The small settlement of White Rock is the fortified center of the half-elven and halfling communities in the Wolde. It is populated by the descendants of the survivors who followed the Patron Vaymen.
White Rock itself is a fortified outcropping of white marble. The natural rock has been shaped and further reinforced, leaving it a natural castle that can protect the local population in times of crisis. All of the surrounding farmsteads and cottages, in contrast to the striking tower of white stone, are well camouflaged. Most are built into hillsides or the insides and upper branches of ancient pine trees, and they are nearly invisible.
The population of White Rock is evenly split between halflings and halfelves. They support themselves with large herds of sheep and goats, some small fields of potatoes and other root vegetables, and the wild game harvested from the Raccoon Wood to the east.
